Mission and Vision

The MISSION of the National Police Cadet Corps is to develop our members to be active citizens and community leaders, by working in partnership with the Singapore Police Force to fight crime and keep Singapore safe.

The VISION of the National Police Cadet Corps is to mould the builders of a safe & secure home.

In accordance with our mission and observing our objectives, we believe that our association with the National Police Cadet Corps will:

ENSURE our growth by exposing us to a challenging environment, which, in turn will imbibe us with leadership qualities, strong character and civic, social and moral values.

ENLIGHTEN us on the role of the Singapore Police Force, help to build a stronger bond of friendship with them, and so lead to a safer place for all in the country.

As part of a culture that encourages us to treat fellow cadets with respect, courtesy and tact, TEACH us to extend the same care and concern to others.

As a result of our identification with the Singapore Police Force, TEACH us to adopt its tradition of high standards of performance, commitment, duty and service, to seek to excel and to face up to challenge.

Training Information

Every odd Wednesday     2.30 pm – 5.30 pm

Every Friday                    2.30 pm – 5.30 pm

Our Activities: All our cadets go through a structured training programme. The training syllabuses include foot & arms drill, lectures, services to community and school, visits to police establishments, first aid, leadership training, weapon training and instruction, physical training & defence tactics, civil defence, campcraft, hiking & orienteering, promotion tests and proficiency badge tests. Our cadets are given opportunities to participate in major parades such as National Day Parade, NPCC Annual Parade, SYF Parade and Police Day Parade.

Our Achievements: 2003: Silver Award 2004 – 2006: Bronze Award 2008 – 2009: Bronze Award 2010 – 2014: Silver Award 2015: Bronze Award 2016 – 2018: Silver Award Competitions Campcraft: 2010 (Male) - 55th position out of 155 teams, 2012 (Male) - 32nd position out of 155 teams, 2012 (Female) - 55th position out of 133 teams .22 Revolver: 2011 (Male) - 31st position out of 150 teams, 2012 (Male) - 42nd position out of 147 teams, 2013 (Male) - 6th position out of 150 teams .38 Revolver: 2010 - Officers Male team (4th in position) Inter-Unit Quiz Inter - Unit Project Inter - Area Project: 2008 - 3rd The Chua Chu Kang Secondary School, National Police Cadet Corps aim to develop our cadets in areas of leadership, teamwork and the school values through our varied programmes and activities carried out.
